Repeating this mantra fills the mind when it would otherwise be consumed with worries driven by anxiety.
- Continual time spent concentrating on, and reciting, Affirmations makes a difference.
- Combining Affirmations and calming breathing exercises is also beneficial, especially before making a decision that you know is not helped if emotionally distressed.
- It appears that remembering the exact words of an Affirmation, when starting a new Affirmation session, takes a bit of ‘mental work’. This appears to prove that Affirmations either stop the ‘worrying process’ or ‘trigger’ a special part of the thinking process. Either way, on a ‘scientific level’ they cause a district change in the ‘thinking process’.
