A Storm Is Coming... Feel The Breeze

There's a quiet discomfort that settles within us, a subtle whisper that something is stirring. It's at this moment we sense the impending rush of emotions. Much like storms, once these emotions begin, they are beyond our control. We're not deities with the power to halt these storms; we must weather them. However, as with all things, this too shall pass.

However, once it has passed, we realize that more often than not, the storm is one of fear. Interestingly, this storm is a creation of our own making. The emotions that surge within us, the storms we endure, are sculpted by our perceptions. Fear, in essence, is our resistance to the present moment, our reluctance to accept the present moment for being exactly what it is.

By choosing to embrace the present, acknowledging it in its entirety, we can diminish the storm to a gentle breeze. This acceptance neutralizes the fear, allowing us to shift our focus to a pivotal question: "What do I do now?"

At this juncture, we have a choice to construct new fears—the uncertainty of whether our actions will yield the desired outcomes. Yet, we must remind ourselves that we are not omnipotent beings. Our role is to accept whatever unfolds next. It's through this acceptance that we realize when we no longer seek results that bolster our ego, we have nothing to fear. When our intentions are driven by service, humility, and compassion, fear loses its grip.

The root of our fear often lies in our desire to control others' perceptions of us or our fear of disappointment or harm by them. By releasing these desires, the fear dissipates.

Therefore, if we stand firm in our resolve to act with integrity and the desire to serve others, and if we navigate our actions with a heart of compassion, those around us will undoubtedly #FeelTheBreeze.
